Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

Dear guests, Alex or I will welcome you personally and show you the 2-room- The sun runs around the whole house, which makes the apartment very bright and friendly. Due to the age of the house, the apartment is furnished in a bright vintage style. You can look out at the mountains from every window. The apartment is located in a cozy old building from 1914 on the second floor in the center of Amden. Chairlift, hiking trails, indoor pool, ski school and beautiful nature are at your doorstep.

Our paradise invites you to relax. The guest room and bathroom as well as the living room (where there is a small fridge, a Nespresso coffee maker and a kettle) are located in the attic with beautiful views of Lake Walen and the Churfirsten. OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES Our cat also lives in the attic, which shares the bathroom and the living room. It has a parking in front of the house and a seating area with a fireplace. Our beautiful accommodation is combined with an older farm, which is rather remote and surrounded by meadows with views of the beautiful Glarus mountains. In this area, you can enjoy the tranquility. However, there are also an incredible number of sights and things to do in the area. We're here to help you find something suitable. The studio is wheelchair accessible and has no steps.
