This property is on the Goldfields walking track and mountain bike track. It is in Creswick which is part of the central highlands goldfields. It is 20 kms from Ballarat and Sovereign Hill and 25kms from Daylesford and Hepburn Springs. It is close to town. You can walk to the supermarket, patisserie, 2 hotels, the wine bar, museum and the other amenities. The walking track goes to St George’s lake in the Wombat Forest. There are many birds; cockatoos, rosellas, kookaburras in the garden.

"Stone Cottage" was built in 1862 from local bluestone and was lovingly restored in 2014. We are adjacent to Woowookarung Regional Park, popular for bush walking and mountain bike riding. Stone Cottage offers old world charm with modern amenities. You will not be sharing with any others. The main bedroom has a queen size bed & the main sitting area has a single bed. . Families will love this rustic mudbrick cottage on a 10 acre property within a relaxed bush setting. Enjoy amazing sunsets, watch the kangaroos from the veranda, or take a walk through local bushlands. The outdoor fire area is the perfect place to unwind and view the amazing stars on a clear night. A few minutes drive from Talbot and 15 minutes drive from the famous Clunes Book Town. Being Central Victoria we have many small towns surrounding us within an hours drive.

The Cottage @ Hedges

The Cottage @ Hedges is an easy 10 minute drive from the centre of Ballarat. The cottage sits within a pretty country garden about 20 metres from my home on a small rural property. Close to parklands, Lake Wendouree, art galleries, wineries and lots of great cafes and restaurants. The Ballarat-Skipton Railtrail is just 300 metres away - perfect for quiet country walks and cyclists. It is comfortable inside and out with plenty of shady spots to sit in the garden.

Harvest Cottage is a peaceful, stylish one bedroom weatherboard cottage set amongst beautiful garden, rolling hills, pasture and native bushland of Central Victoria. It's filled with the exquisite botanical and landscape artworks of Catherine Freemantle, a wood fire and bespoke furnishings to make your stay unforgettable. We also offer a number of floral and art workshops on request. We are also a stone throw from the newly opened djuwangbaring trail network.

The cottage is located in a tranquil quiet location with sweeping views of the beautiful Wallaby Track and Reserve which combine the best of European and Australian trees. We welcome adults, infants not yet crawling or walking and children from 6 years and above as well as up to 2 pets. IMPORTANT NOTE There are access issues for young children to the nearby creek, hence our restriction of young kids at the property.
