The house was built in 1691 and what is now Townfoot Byre would have originally housed animals. However, it has now been converted it into a charming and cosy bedroom suite with its own small kitchenette and bathroom. Relax in a peaceful, natural environment, ideal for friends and families, wild swimmers, cyclists, paddle boarders, hikers and for cosy evenings by the fireplace. A luxurious hot tub and a wood fired barrel sauna with cold shower are available but charged separately on request. Art classes and treatments also available.

Fitzys Coach House - Wellness Retreat

IMPORTANT NOTE: The hot tub and sauna are available for an additional £75. This fee covers access for 2 days and must be reserved at least 24 hours before arrival. This charming property, built in 1848, originally served as the maintenance room for horse-drawn vehicles and coaches for the nearby Manor House. It has undergone extensive renovations to blend historical charm with modern conveniences, including contemporary fixtures and super fast Virgin broadband.
