The hen house is located in the middle of the beautiful Permagarten, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhaupten. Gabi and Guido live their dream of independence here and want to expand the farm sustainably and suitable for grandchildren. For example, the walls and ceiling of the hen house were made from the over 200-year-old plank boards of the main house. The "gray water" is used in the garden and the "separating toilet" works without drinking water flushing. Our 2-room apartment with bedroom, bathroom/toilet and combined kitchen/living room on the first floor of a single-family home in Maria-Thann is 4 km from Wangen im Allgäu. Located directly in the center of town on the Lake Constance-Königsee cycle path between Lindau and Oberstdorf. An ideal starting point for all activities. There is a shopping facility in the village at the "Regiomat" where you can buy milk, eggs, meat and drinks 24 hours a day, as well as on Saturday at the bakery in the village. The nearest small shop is 2 km away.

Sofa bed for 2 more people. Dining area for at least 6 people. In summer, there is a pool for shared use outdoors. In the winter months, we have our sauna in operation. Here you can relax on cold autumn or winter days. Very large bathroom with family shower. Plus local tourist tax.

Beautiful, bright modern furnished apartment (32 sqm)in a semi-detached house. The apartment has a large living/sleeping room with fitted kitchen, bed, closet, dining table with 4 seats as well as a sofa bed with a comfortable topper and TV system. The apartment is an in-law and not suitable for wheelchairs. The kitchen is fully equipped. Bathroom with shower,toilet, washbasin, washing machine, hair dryer and a window. Pets are welcome.

The guest apartment overlooking the adjacent FFH area is located in our house in a separate area (soundproofing door) with separate entrance. You can enter the apartment at any time by code and lock it with the code. The room and bathroom have underfloor heating or cooling in summer. A baby bed (120x60 cm) and a high chair are available on request. The sauna can be booked (€25 for a slot, about 3-4 hours incl. Sauna towels).

You will stay cozily and authentically on 24 square meters in our "Bauernstüble." In the living room, there is a dining area, a wardrobe, sofa and satellite TV. A staircase leads to the sleeping area with a 140 × 200 cm mattress. Adjacent to the entrance area is a small but fully equipped kitchen. A modern bathroom with underfloor heating and daylight completes the apartment. A washing machine + dryer can be used for €4 per load.

Guest accommodation on farm

In our former, newly converted barn, we offer simple but fully equipped 44 square meter accommodation for uncomplicated guests. Our farm is located in a quiet and beautiful environment. We run an organic farm with cows, chickens, horses and cats. Our garden invites you to linger and in case of rain there is a covered seating area. A sofa bed is available for a child, and a travel crib can also be accommodated. Welcome!

Tiny loft on the Argen

This special place is located right on the river and right at the entrance to the historic old town. Although centrally located in the city, the location on the river creates a feel-good atmosphere all year round. The accommodation is not large, but a perfect base if you want to explore the old town on foot, the surrounding area by bike or the region by car.
