The visitor can find in the area taverns, cafes, mini markets, etc. In about 150 meters south is the organized beach "Ormos Lo". In the general area is Homer's Stone (where tradition has it that Homer did the teaching) as well as the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Cyveli.

My apartment is a great place to unwind.Being on the upper floor there is always a cool breeze with lots of shade from the tall trees. Close enough to the port of chios that transportation is not needed. The city has created a new public park next to my home. It features a cushioned jogging track, exercise equipment and basketball courts. Facilities are available for all guests
