Very quiet holiday home in beautiful surroundings. From our Berkelhut you can walk straight into the woods of Velhorst. The house is heated with infrared panels, has a large double bed of 1.60 by 2.00 meters that can be closed off. You may use 2 bicycles and a Canadian kayak; the Berkel river is in walking distance of your accommodation. In addition to the picturesque village of Almen, Zutphen, Lochem and Deventer are also close by. After consulting us, you can bring your small dog with you.

You have the De Smederij guest house all to yourself and it has its own entrance. Parking is free for guests. It is a few steps away from the IJssel and within walking distance of the historic center of Zutphen and the station. Zutphen is at home in all markets. Speaking of market; the market on Thursday and Saturday in the center is worth a stroll. Cycling with the wind in your hair in the countryside or to a museum or theater. Relax or work. In the back of my garden is the tiny house, a former hobby space that has been converted into a pleasant guesthouse. With a private entrance, kitchen and a cozy living space. It is decorated in a simple but cozy way. There are coffee and tea facilities. Bedding and towels included. Upstairs is a loft where you come through a narrow staircase. Downstairs is a double sofa bed. At the front of the cottage you can sit under the veranda and at the back is a private terrace.
