Unique & enchanting cave house

More Hobbit than Batman (no parking), this little cave house is built into the limestone cliff above the beautiful Provençal village of Cotignac. One of the most enchanting properties in the area, it has a garden with roses, palms, cacti and oleander. Panoramic view of the village. Parking nearby but the property has no vehicle access, only steep narrow path. This is the owner’s painting studio - easel available. Eagle owls nest above - no late parties/loud music. A 10 km de la station touristique de Castellane, aux portes des Gorges du Verdon. Gite en pleine nature, calme et tranquillité assurés. Superbes vues sur les barres rocheuses. Beautiful villa with jacuzzi pool and fire pit

Functional villa pleasant to live with 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms . It has an unheated swimming pool (open from 30/04 to 01/10), a hot tub heated all year round, a fire pit (prohibited from 01/06 to 30/09) , a swing and petanque area. Winter fireplace. TV of the accommodation in ground floor room. We ask for calm because it is located in a subdivision with a very quiet neighborhood. No music outdoors. All shops in Salernes Market on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Live the Provence experience in the perched village of Châteaudouble. The house is located on a quiet belvedere. Simply the best spot in the village. The hiking trails of the Gorges de Châteaudouble are accessible from the house, as are the mountain bike trails. The area's quiet roads are ideal for road cycling. The Gorges du Verdon and Lac de Ste-Croix are 30 minutes away. The Mediterranean is 45 minutes away. Nice airport at 1h15.
