If you like peace and quiet and nature, then you've come to the right place; in fact, the road ends at the cottage. Beyond that, the paths wind through the pine forest and the hills among the Capitelles. You can discover them on foot, by mountain bike with or without a picnic. The cottage is located in a wine estate that you can visit. Former stable of the estate, this independent, air-conditioned cottage has a terrace with pergola and we provide you with our swimming pool (7.2 m x 3.7 m).

Experience the real France. Large sixteenth century house, small sunny and secluded garden, barn. Modern bathrooms and a very high comfort rating with guests e.g. "Best equipped house I have ever stayed in." (August, 2016). Great village with shops, a cafe. Excellent for visiting the Mediterranean beaches, Carcassonne, the Pyrenees, and the Minervois vineyards. Nearest airports Carcassonne (15 mins) and Toulouse (1h 20). (Heated pool, closed from the end of September to April inclusive) Our air-conditioned accommodation is located in the charming village of Saint-Hilaire, a few steps from its abbey. Formerly old wine vats, our atypical gîte has been completely renovated. Saint-Hilaire is located between Carcassonne (16 km) with its unmissable medieval city and Limoux (13 km). We benefit from all amenities: bakery, pharmacy, tobacco/grocery store… as well as a great cultural wealth!

A serene courtyard features stone paving, surrounded by greenery and wooden accents. Double gates lead to a private parking area. A large wooden table with benches invites gathering. A barrel adds rustic charm, while vibrant plants offer a touch of nature.

The building consists of an old wine cellar and an old sheepfold inhabited by the owners. Both parties are completely independent.
