Here they are close to nature with a short distance to both ski tracks, ski trips and cross country tracks in the winter, and mountain hikes and swimming/fishing in the summer. The cabin can also be base for exploring the region, with a short distance to the Art Nouveau city of Ålesund, beautiful Geiranger or the bird mountain at Runde. Bring family and friends to a cozy cabin halls in the home hospital surroundings.

The tiny house by the woods

Hear the birds singing in the forest outside while sitting in the large window drinking your morning coffee and studying the rum valley mountains. The tiny house is centrally located, but unashamedly, on the edge of a forest in the center of Isfjorden. Buckle up outside the door and walk some of Romsdalen's most famous mountains. Or sit on the couch watching Romsdalseggen you left earlier in the day. The tiny house has a small and functionally equipped apartment kitchen (fridge and two hot plates) that you can make yourself simple dishes on.

Here you can relax or be active. Enjoy nature with hikes in the mountains in the surrounding area, both on skis and feet. Head out into the sea with kayaks or boat. Bike on quiet roads. Both boat, kayak and bicycles can be rented for reasonable money. Take a drive to Åndalsnes, Trollstigen, Ålesund or Molde. Come home and enjoy the evening of great food on the grill and cuddle around the fire pit. The hot tub is ready to soften after the day's activity. Huset er totalrenovert i 2023. Tømmerveggene er fra 1600-tallet og noe er bevart innvendig. Boarealet er 100m2 og inneholder tre soverom, tre bad og et stort kjøkken/allrom. Fra allrommet er det utgang til delvis overbygd terrasse på 24m2. Soverom 3 har egen terrasse under tak. Gratis parkeringsplass til mange biler og 7KW lader for elbil. Det er 200m til offentlig badestrand og leikeplass. Et utmerket sted for avslapning og dagsutflukter. Vertskapet bor i nabohuset og er gjerne behjelpelig.

Just metres from the town centre, but very quiet at the end of a narrow road, with amazing fjord and mountain views! Your parking space is in front of our house, and you go down an exterior staircase to your entrance. The entry has a big wardrobe. Next is the modern and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a shower and washer dryer combo. Down the hallway is a bedroom with a 150x200cm bed and a big closet, and a living room with a sofa bed that pulls out to 140x200cm and a crib. Not far from the cabin, you’ll find popular destinations such as Valldal, Geiranger, and Trollstigen.

Modern cabin with spectacular view of the fjord and sea. Sunshine (if lucky) until 10:30 pm in the summer. Big terrace with a gas grill for eating out. Distance to Molde centre 10-12 minutes by car. We have a small boat w/10 HP engine in the nearby Marina Saltrøa, around 5 minutes walk from the cabin, which can be used for free if the weather conditions are good enough. Just pay for the gasolin. Fishing gear at your disposal at the cabin.
