Welcome to Åkhult and our small house located on our farm, 18 meters from our residential house. When you look out the window or door, you see Lake Fiolen. This lake is a spring lake with very clear water. Here you can both swim and fish. Around the lake, there is a small road of eight kilometers. Here, there are many who walk, run or cycle. Dear guests, Myself has enjoyed a lot to travel via airbnb with my family. That is why I try to provide same convenience to others. My house locates in Hovmantorp Sweden. Within 100 meters to my house, one can enter the 'big' forest where you could pick up berries, and jogging. Within 1km distance, you could reach one side of the beautiful Rottnen lake. Ca 3 km to the camping site by the lake which is great for kids and adults to swim. 25km to Växjö takes 20 mins by car, 12 mins by train.

You have a private entrance, and inside you will find two bedrooms each with a large bed, living room with TV, bathroom with toilet and shower. There is also a small kitchen also with all the appliances you may need as well. You'll even have access to the laundry room which has washing machines and dryers

Lake House at Skälsnäs Mansion in Småland

On a peninsula of the famous Lake Helga in Småland, with a rich fish population, forests and an abundance of animals, we rent out a lake house directly on the lake. Horses and sheep graze on the property, which was once owned by Gustav Wasa. Dogs (max. 2) are welcome, at a cost of € 12 per dog/night. A boat (4.5 hp motor) can be hired for €50/day including fuel. You can also rent our ‘Guesthouse’ (see there) and ‘Brygghus’ (see there), both with lake view.
