Downstairs there is an entrance, living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. There are 2 beds in the loft. All beds are new with good quality. Steep stairs up to the sleeping loft. Household appliances are both modern and old-fashioned. On the terrace there are chairs and tables.

The house is located in untoucted nature next to a field on Brennistaðir farm, about 20 km from Egilsstaðir in the direction to Borgarfjörður eystri. The farm is sheep farm. We live about 400 m distance from Ásinn. Fully equipped kitchen, small sitting room, spacious bathroom (washing machine and dryer), 4 bedrooms. Good looking view, cairns, bird live, streams, family-friendly environment in peaceful nature.

Beautiful, warm and cosy cottage for 2 people. It's located in the countryside 18 km from the town Egilsstaðir on road 931. It's on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The next grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime.

Smábót 2 — riverside cottage

Smábót is a small cottage (15 square meters) and has accommodations just outside Egilsstaðir and has a great riverside view. The cottage has two single beds, private bathroom and free WiFi. The facilities are extremely suitable for two people. A variety of hiking trails are nearby and guests are allowed to go fishing for free in the river called Rangá. The nearest airport is Egilsstaðir Airport, 8 km from the cabin location.

Gestshús

A guest house is a bright and warm cottage with a double bed and one single bed. The house has a kitchen unit and everything you need for simple cooking, a bathroom with a shower, and a gorgeous view down to Lagarfljót. Parking is just outside the door and easy access to the house. A guest house is ideal for relaxation from the city, and we recommend sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee, a good book, and enjoy.

Perfect for 3-4 guests who wants to be alone from everything and discover the countryside of Iceland. We have sheeps, icelandic horses, dogs, cats, birds and more and you are welcome to take a look at everything! We recommend that you stay longer than one night.
