The summer house Flora is unique, Icelandic and old-fashioned, 12 km from Egilssstaðir, located at the top and end of the summer house area. Exceptionally nice and beautiful views of the valley and Lagarfljot. Birdsong, tranquility, romance and coziness. Flora is a ground floor with a sleeping loft. Downstairs there is an entrance, living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. There are 2 beds in the loft. All beds are new with good quality. Steep stairs up to the sleeping loft. Household appliances are both modern and old-fashioned. On the terrace there are chairs and tables.

The house is located in untoucted nature next to a field on Brennistaðir farm, about 20 km from Egilsstaðir in the direction to Borgarfjörður eystri. The farm is sheep farm. We live about 400 m distance from Ásinn. Fully equipped kitchen, small sitting room, spacious bathroom (washing machine and dryer), 4 bedrooms. Good looking view, cairns, bird live, streams, family-friendly environment in peaceful nature.

Peaceful cottage blue in the countryside.

Beautiful, warm and cosy cottage for 2 people. It's located in the countryside 18 km from the town Egilsstaðir on road 931. It's on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The next grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime.

A guest house is a bright and warm cottage with a double bed and one single bed. The house has a kitchen unit and everything you need for simple cooking, a bathroom with a shower, and a gorgeous view down to Lagarfljót. The cottage is on a small and quiet family run farm, 8 km to the town Egilsstaðir. These small houses are cozy and heated with geothermal energy, the cottages can be booked all year around. We provide linen, towels, tea and Coffee for no extra charge.
