Are you looking for a calm, relaxing destination deep in the heart of Portugal's world famous natural beauty? Are you looking for a special place to explore the diversity of Portugal's culture? Do you crave the sunshine and surf of Portugal's famous beaches? If you answer yes to any of these questions then you'll be home at our home! LOCATION/SURROUNDINGS: Our charming holiday house is located in the heart of Portugal – exactly halfway between Lisbon and Porto. You can reach the center of both cities easily within an hour and a half. Besides the must-do day trips to Lisbon (150 km) and Porto (150 km), our holiday house is surrounded by a number of enjoyable activities: A short hop away are the popular coast villages of Figueira da Foz (30 km), Nazaré (40 km), São Pedro de Moel (50 km), "Praia do Pedrogão" (17 km). You can get to one of my favourite beaches, “Praia do Osso da Baleia” (translated “beach of the bone of a whale”), within 25-30 min by car. Other cultural highlights within easy reach are the cities of Aveiro, “the Venice of Portugal”, Batalha (a designated World Cultural Heritage city with its breathtaking monastery), Coimbra (the first capital city of Portugal, today one of the oldest university cities of Europe), Santuário de Fátima (unique and world famous pilgrimage destination), Alcobaça (also distinguished by the UNESCO amongst others known for the historic love drama of D. Pedro I and D. Inês de Castro), Tomar (Portuguese city of the Knights Templar, another designated World Cultural Heritage city). You can discover some of Portugal's most important cultural heritage in less than an hour. ACCOMMODATION: Our cosy vacation house provides an exclusive atmosphere, guaranteeing you the perfect environment for pure relaxation. The house is surrounded by an admirable, spacious garden with fruit trees, flowers and plants allowing you to reconnect with nature. The house features a swimming pool exclusively for you. The pool is perfect for early morning and cooling afternoon dips. WHAT ABOUT THE PLACE ITSELF: The vacation house consists of a master bedroom with a double bed, a modern bathroom with a shower and a living room combined with a kitchen. You can keep in touch with some of your favorite television shows with our international satellite channels. A stereo is also included in case you feel the need to dance or turn up a recording of Portugese "fado" music. From its location in the golden middle of Portugal, our cosy holiday house provides you easy access to the best sights and cultural destinations in country. No matter what your taste, you'll be able to choose from a broad "à la carte" menu to make your vacation perfect. Nira House simplicity luxury pool sea view

Is a beach house which is 5 / 10 minutes walk from two stunning beaches, 25 minutes from Sintra with its magical monuments and 40 minutes from Lisbon airport (by car). It is a house that reconciles the simplicity of the forms with the refinement of the details, with excellent sea views, full of natural light, this offers the best of both worlds, the quiet of the countryside and the sea air. The pool is great for baths of emersion well located in a wide terrace to the south, with immense sun.

Cottage for friends and families - swimming pool and nature

At the vegetable garden, enjoy a strawberry, feel the aromas, on the balcony with wide views, rest your eyes and relax. This is the ideal space to spend a few days with friends or gather the family in a rural and welcoming environment. An invigorating dip in the pool or watching the birds fuss in the backyard. Recovering a stone house, keeping the ancestral and typical details was a challenge, but one that we gladly accepted, guided by the desire to preserve history and memory. Be welcome.

Beautiful raised blue wooden chalet, Scandinavian style, comfortably furnished, with balcony, decking, barbeque and swimming pool within walled garden. Views of the sea and sunset. Stunning location near clifftop, in very peaceful, scenic area. Coastal walks, wildlife, pinewoods. Access to clean sandy beaches at Sao Juliao, surfer's paradise. Nearby local shops and dining.

Rustic house of the year about 1500 located in Póvoa, 7km from Tomar, in a then Commendation of the Order of Christ. Details can be observed in the construction technique and architecture: use of corn carolole, straw, tabique walls, fireplace. Near the river where you can canoe, and Paleolithic caves that you can visit on foot or by bike. World Heritage Site: the Templar Castle and the Convent of Christ and the oldest Synagogue in Europe.
