I am longing to stay again and I have only just returned home. The thought that has gone in to creating every inch of ‘The Hoot’ is perfection.

We booked this for a friend as a birthday gift, couple of days away to chill, and he absolutely loved it!

Absolutely blown away by The Hoot. It was magical - super cosy and relaxing (we especially loved the little trinkets tucked into every corner, each day we found more!). The location was perfect - private, easy to find, and Janice had everything set up for us with clear instructions. We also appreciated the breakfast tray that was provided. Janice herself was also brilliant and just a message away.

It’s rare to find a place that feels both so well put together and so personal at the same time, but The Hoot managed to capture both beautifully. Highly recommend staying.

Hands down this is the most amazing place we have stayed. Glastonbury is a fave for us and we have returned for several years. We sold our beloved VW Van this year so needed an alternative and when I saw The Hoot I literally ran to my husband squealing "look at this! We have to stay here!"
Even though the photos were fabulous and showed it off beautifully, it still did not take away from the WOW of seeing it for real.
I was so curious to see how they had created it, like something from a dream!
Janice and Dunc, the wonderful, friendly owners have together created a magical little world of woodland wonder and everywhere you look there's a quirky, clever, unique creation, from the cabin itself (delightful, cosy, beautifully built, designed & perfectly equipped with colourful enamelware, snug furnishings, books, games & curiosities galore), to the outside with the Beetle BBQ and vinyl record player in the back, the stonking outside bath and firepit . We need a week next time! Magical !
