Great stay. Proactive communication. The steps down then up to get to the Airstream were a surprise I missed in photos and description. I sometimes have trouble with steps but I managed. I couldn't miss the house at night with festive decor, which was helpful and enjoyable. It was a nice quiet stay!

Amazing spot, it was an unforgettable stay

I booked this Airstream stay for my birthday and was really excited for the unique experience. However, from the moment we arrived, the water pressure was so low that we couldn’t even rinse off in the shower — we let the hosts know right away. We had to wait until the host came home from work (after being stuck in traffic) to check it. Later that night around 9:30 PM, the toilet’s foot pedal stopped working. Earlier, when we mentioned it wasn’t flushing, we were told to ‘press harder,’ but it fully broke shortly after.

We were then told we would need to either move to the downstairs apartment or find another Airbnb. We chose to stay in the Airstream but had to walk to the apartment every time we needed a bathroom, which took away from the private experience we booked. Although one night was refunded, we had booked two nights and were still asked to leave the next morning.

The hosts were polite, but it felt like the focus shifted more toward preparing for the next guests than helping

This was my second stay with Matt & Joseph. The interior is very nice. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with a great view of the bay and spots to read in the sun or sunhouse. This is near a retreat center I attend yearly and I look forward to staying with them again.
