A self-contained studio suite with private kitchenette, en-suite shower room and garden on the step-free ground floor of our townhouse home. The studio is 5 mins walk to Wantage Sq. The neighbourhood is quiet with walks close by. NOTE: Whilst we are flexible with check-in/out, to allow cleaning time, please ask us if you intend to check in before 4pm, or check out after 10am. There is some household noise from 6am on weekdays and we have an aloof cat who is not allowed in the studio.

Close and within easy reach to many interesting destinations to explore both cities, Oxford, Bath, Bristol, countryside spots White Horse Hill, Avebury, The Ridgeway, The Cotswolds. Set in a secluded spot with great open space gardens, views, it’s own mini paddock and nearby woodland, great place to relax, two bedrooms, a sofa bed in the living room.

Gather in style and comfort in our peaceful, fully equipped home in an idyllic racing village. Our large, private garden offers a hot tub, outdoor cooking and dining, and lawn games. We have private access to a stream at the back of the garden, with some very friendly (hungry) ducks. Get competitive with table tennis, croquet, and an extensive board game collection. Cosy up in front of the log burner, or whip up a feast in our kitchen. More photos to follow!

Symonds Barn is a spacious converted barn set in the middle of Childrey, a village on the edge of the Ridgeway, only 15 miles from Oxford. Choose between enjoying an escape to the countryside, with delicious meals in one of the many local cafes and pubs and walks through some really beautiful countryside (it’s a 5 minute drive onto the Ridgeway), or take advantage of the nearby shopping and culture in Oxford, Marlborough, Hungerford or Burford.
