Connemara with its gorgeous villages and Atlantic beaches are easily reached by car as is the world famous Kylemore Abbey. Galway city with its many charms is located 25kms away.

The living room has open fire which some supplies of logs and local turf. The cottage comes with all the mod cons. Complimentary Wifi available.

Ballindooley Castle

The Castle rests on about half an acre of land with Ballindooley Lake lying to the south west. It is surrounded by low walls and hedges: with a gated entrance controlled by an electronic security system. Features include 3 murders holes and a dungeon The castle was built by the DeBurgo family (approximately 1480). It had the distinction of being shelled by the British Gunboat ” Helga” during the1916 Rising to disband rebels

Catherine's Cottage is one of three courtyard cottages with three ensuite bedrooms, a full kitchen, dining/living room, washer/ dryer and underfloor heating.
