You won't find this often: above a chicken coop and next to a bee farm in the middle of the countryside! A small garden shed converted into a unique hostel. In a space of about 35 square meters, it is ideal for relaxing and an ideal starting point for excursions around and in Munich. But be aware: chickens don't just lay eggs! Sometimes it flutters a bit, and every now and then a bee stops by! For this, you will be woken up around 6:30 am by our rooster or a train will pass by and tell you: Let's go!! 🤩

Maja's hut - fairytale time out in the forest

Majas Hütte is a former hunting lodge in the middle of the forest, which has been transformed into a cozy nest. The small wood-burning stove in the rustic room with kitchenette generates cozy warmth, while a second stove in the bedroom ensures a feel-good atmosphere. From here you have access to the terrace, where you can enjoy the first rays of sun or the moonlight and starry sky. And if you are patient, you may be rewarded at dusk with a visit from deer, foxes or rabbits!

Welcome to our cozy log cabin in the Bavarian Alps. We built this log cabin with a lot of love for detail, as this is our profession. The log cabin is located near our carpentry shop and small farm and is located in the middle of the village. Please note: it is not on a mountain or on an alpine pasture. The village is alive! From your window, you can occasionally watch a new log cabin being prepared. Here you can experience country life up close!

Relax in this special and quiet accommodation in an absolutely idyllic location. Enjoy the unique view at 800 m altitude into the Bavarian Forest and the Gäuboden. You can set off on beautiful hikes directly from the property. Particularly recommended are the Hirschenstein (with lookout tower, at 1052 m) and the idyllic Mühlgrabenweg. Here you can reach the peaks along a stream. There are also beautiful trails for mountain bikers.

Ideal for holidays by the lake and holidays with dogs. In winter, it is ideally suited for winter vacations & ski vacations. Winter sports resorts such as Sankt Englmar are about 100 km away. Thermal baths and an airfield are nearby.
