The Sailor's Galley

Lovely, spacious home in picturesque Aghada with sea views from almost every room. A wonderful base to explore East Cork and only minutes from fabulous walks with views across to Cobh. Safe and plenty free parking as the house is end of terrace. An extension to the house created a downstairs bedroom with ensuite and is fully wheelchair accessible. There are no steps from car park to all of downstairs. Kitchen and living space is south facing giving fabulous light wrapping around to the west.

Located 7mins from the foodie town of Midleton where CUSH is perfect for dining. Inch beach is 15mins away for swimming and sauna barrel. Cork city, with all it has to offer, is a 20minute drive. No wifi in the cabin but mobile phone reception is great, unless you’re Voda phone but a short stroll along the lane will pick up voda phone.

The Wing is part of a typical Irish cottage, dated 1780. Located in a quiet village, 5 minutes drive south of Midleton, and 25-40 minutes drive from Cork airport. Within picturesque East Cork, you are close to Ballymaloe House; Ballycotton Cliffs; historic Cobh; Fota House, Gardens and Wildlife Park; various beaches; Jameson Experience (whisky tours). From The Wing, you can walk along part of Cork harbour, with splendid views. Great place for cycling , sea swimming and hiking.
