I would like you to see the beautiful "Hamacha and Nagarebashi". You can also pick strawberries between February and May.

It's located on the same alley with other two authentic Kyoto Machiya town houses. You can enjoy staying in this house as if you are local residents. There are two rooms on the second floor. One of them has two single beds and the other room has a sofa bed for two which makes four people to stay in this house. The house has everything you need to stay comfortably.

This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Kyo-machiya is a traditional Kyoto architectural style. It is a consecutive style townhouse, a maisonette type terrace house. Whole house charter for you. Quiet place. It has two bedrooms with full bathroom, and a full kitchen. Smoking is allowed on the balcony of 2nd floor only. Capacity 5 adults. In addition, up to 2 infants who do not require a bed can stay free of charge. Accommodation tax is required. Check in time is 3 Ppm - 9 pm. Check out time is 10 am, free out system.

Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!
