OVENDEN LODGE is a rural smallholding with horses and chickens , surrounded by open paddocks. It is situated off Main North Road at the southern entrance to historic Gawler. We offer a self-contained "granny flat" alongside the main house that is ideal for a quiet, private retreat for 1-2 adults, complete with cedar hot tub and sauna. Unfortunately, due to the ponds and animals on the property, Ovenden Lodge is NOT suited for children. Dogs and ponies are welcome by individual prior arrangement.

Close to nature, self-contained; a haven of tranquillity. Set in the beautiful Adelaide foothills, a prime location within easy reach of walks, cafes, transport, etc PLEASE READ; this is a rustic cottage. The shower setup is unconventional, though does provide a warm - hot shower depending on the weather! - READ BELOW. The cottage cold water tap is drinkable, no hot tap. The main house is 200m away. Yards for horses are opposite the unit. Dressage arena and 650m track are available.
