A new, unique, atmospheric semi-detached cottage completed for Christmas 2023. Äkäsvilla is a log cabin for quality-conscious holidaymakers in the new Röhkömukanmaa area in Äkäslompolo, Ylläs. The cottage accommodates 6+2 guests. The cottage is located in the immediate vicinity of ski trails (500m), slopes (1.5km) and nature trails. From the large windows of the living room/kitchen facing the northern sky, you can admire the mountain landscape and, and in the evenings, you can see the starry sky and the northern lights. The nature starts right when you step outside. There is no light pollution so the sky is very clear. If the northern lights are in the sky you can see them from your doorstep. Lake Jeris is about 1km away. There is a wifi in the cabin.

There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, one of which has separable beds. Upstairs there's a large bunk beds, WC and a fold-out futon sofa for an extra bed. The sauna is located in a separate outdoor building, accessed through a glazed terrace. An outdoor fireplace is also situated on the terrace, where you can enjoy even the chilliest of evenings.
