Cottage 339 Renvyle

This traditional cottage located on the Wild Atlantic Way in Renvyle Connemara. The property is well furnished with all modern conveniences and is located within a short walk of Tully. Many of the local bars offer regular Traditional Irish music and dance sessions. The Renvyle area is a very popular holiday destination and offers beautiful white sandy beaches, walking trails and unrivalled scenery. Close to pony trekking, hill walking, water sports, outdoor activity centres, scuba-diving centre, river and sea fishing, boat trips, Kylemore Abbey and Connemara National Park. This is in an ideal location for family holiday or a well-deserved relaxing break with friends. It is also ideally located for those looking for self-catering accommodation for the many festivals which take place in the area. Facilities: 4 bedrooms - Sleeps 9. Downstairs accommodation consists of bedrooms 1 and 2 which are both double bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite bathroom. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms. One is a family room with a double bed and a single bed and bedroom 4 is a twin bedroom. The living room is situated to the front of the property and has timber floor, multi-fuel stove, multi-channel TV, DVD player and sofas. The kitchen is equipped with all modern conveniences, including an electric cooker and hob, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, washing machine and dryer. The adjoining dining room is furnished with a large dining table and benches, with ample seating for all guests. The fully tiled family bathroom includes a bath with overhead shower, WC, bidet and basin. A hair dryer is also provided. The cottage is oil centrally heated throughout. Heating and electricity are included in the rental price. Cot and highchair are available. Wi-Fi included. There is a garden to the side of the property, which is not enclosed. Clifden, The Barn on the Wild Atlantic Way.

The Barn is a unique old stone barn but modern, with an open plan sitting/kitchen/ eating area with cathedral ceiling and a long narrow window overlooking the Salt Lake to one side, a small window looking down to the sea on the other. There are two bedrooms and a wet room style bathroom (no bathtub) but plenty of hot water and underfloor heating. It is wonderfully quiet, a real retreat for those who just want to escape.
