We are located on the edge of Bodmin Moor with the Cheesewring & the Hurlers a short drive or a longer stomp across the moor. We are 3 miles from the town of Liskeard and 8 miles from the coastal town of Looe. We also have some of Cornwall's other lovely beach towns such as Bude, Padstow, Newquay and St Ives to name but a few

Unique and perfectly situated coastal retreat

Unwind and relax in this historic gem of a home. There has been a mill on this site since 1298 and in 2019 we completely refurbished the current 18th century milll to a very high standard to ensure a truly comfortable and magical getaway. You'll be surrounded by trees, bird song and the constant sound of running water and the sight of our resident heron by the waterfall. The mill lies in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Daphne du Maurier country, on the Fowey estuary.

Detached cabin in private grounds

Snuggling in a wooded corner of our paddock the cabin is a lovely secluded escape for two. In one of the quietest parts of Cornwall with complete privacy you will hear the hoots of owls and chorus of birdlife, and with no light pollution the night skies are magnificent. The coast is nearby, with the Fowey estuary just down the road, and glorious beaches and coastal footpath a short drive away. It is roomy and comfortable in all weathers, and comes with a private wild garden.

Our cottage is situated on Bodmin Moor in an area of oustanding natural beauty and on the outskirts of the hamlet of Warleggan. It is an ideal location for people who are looking to get away from it all, whilst still being within easy reach of major Cornish towns and sitting roughly equidistant between beautiful Cornish north and south coast beaches. The accommodation is a light and airy space with neutral decor, furnished partly with pieces from our travels in Africa.
