Welcome to Stu's corner me 'ansomes, the perfect smugglers hideaway not far from the A30, Bodmin moor and the infamous Jamaica Inn - the home of Dick Penworthy the famous highwayman and his cat the Beast of Bodmin - some say his distant relatives still drink in the bar, and keep your eyes peeled fer 'is cat because 'ees huuge - a true beast, I know cos I seen im! Anyway me beauties back to Luxulyan, tis a beautiful little village nestled right 'ere in the centre of Kernow amongst the granite boulders. You will find all sorts; miners, smugglers, wreckers and of course the Luxulyan valley featured on TV, and some say, did have the deepest copper mine in all Kernow owned by Mr Treffry 'imself. While you're 'ere why not take a train ride to Newquay, my beauties as we 'ave our own station, stick yer hand out mind to make 'im stop. Visit some of our local ports like Polperro - a little smugglers port steeped in local history with its own museum. Fowey of course with all its fine eateries, frequent tall ships visiting and don't forget regatta week. There's Polkerris beach too with its inn on the sand, and then there's Charlestown me 'ansomes, often seen in the Poldark series re named as Truro quay. To top it all only a short hike or 10 minutes on your 'oss is the iconic World famous Eden Project home of the Domes and the acclaimed Eden music sessions and they'm bleddy loud cos we can 'ear em from 'ere. Luxulyan is also world known for 'Luxullianite' a very special rock cos tis pink and was used to make the Duke of Wellingtons coffin, so they say, and shipped out of Par, can't say for sure though cos I wasn't there. While you're stayin' 'ere we have a local pub serving good food, we have a well stocked shop and post office and not forgetting the pretty little church. There's plenty of parking for your 'oss and cart right next to mine and tis a beauty cos I bought it off Cap'n Poldark 'imself. So that's it me 'amsomes, look forward to seeing you all 'ere. I only live next door so if there's anything you need like a little bit of scrumpy or a good nights ship wreckin' then just ask. Stuart and Karen.

Downstairs has 2 beautiful double rooms & bathroom. Free off-road parking for 2 cars Close to north & south coast beaches, Heligan, Charlestown & Eden are all a 20 minute drive. Tristram Counthouse modern linked barn conversion

Our annex is a modern barn conversion linked to our main house. It's close to public transport, beaches, pubs, the Eden Project, the historic harbours of Charlestown, Fowey and restaurants. Newquay airport is 30 minutes away. The Lost Gardens of Heligan and National Trust properties, walking and cycling trails are all close by. Our place is in a quiet location with a level garden and wooded setting. It's good for couples with friends and families with older children. Choose twins or double beds.

The Piggery is a lovely, cosy holiday cottage which is equipped to a high standard. There is adjacent parking and a private seating area outside. Free WiFi is available as well as Freeview TV. The location is peaceful and rural with the added bonus of easy access to the North and South coast, the A30 just 2 miles away. Visitor attractions in the local area includeThe Eden Project, Heligan Gardens, Bodmin Jail and the Port of Charlestown. A maximum of two small dogs are welcome free of charge.

The Old Chapel Of Rest

The Old Chapel is a unique property. The ground floor offers a fully equipped kitchen, living room with dining area and WC. The upper floor boasts a spacious bedroom with a Super King bed, built in wardrobe and bathroom. Our Chapel is in a fantastic central location, just a few minutes drive away from the Port of Charlestown where Poldark is filmed and Tall Ships are usually docked. Karven at Rowan Cottage

Tucked away by a stream in a secluded garden Karven at Rowan Cottage is set deep in the Cornish countryside in Trethurgy, near St Austell. As well as peace and quiet, it has one very big USP – it’s only a five minute drive or half an hour walk from the fabulous Eden Project! A beautiful global garden where you can rediscover the natural world as you've never experienced it before. On our doorstep are the Clay Trails, a series of scenic routes great for exploring the local area. Yeghes da!

Located in a tranquil village connected to The Eden Project via walking / cycling trails, walking distance from Knightor Winery and with loads of scenic walks on the doorstep. We are handily located for the stunning beaches of St Austell Bay and a 30 minute drive from Newquay's surf beaches. The harbour village of Charlestown is three miles away and we are within easy reach of the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

Countryside Studio with welcome pack

The Studio is a beautifully furnished, light and airy space in the grounds of our home. With far reaching stunning views of the countryside. It is approximately 2 miles from St Austell and convenient for beaches, Eden project, Heligan Gardens, Charlestown and lovely country walks. Due to Covid 19 I have put in an extra precautionary cleaning regime for your safety including the use of UV Disinfectant lamp which will be used between each guests visit.
