Located in the middle of Toyama Prefecture, it is convenient for sightseeing in the east, west, south and north. To the east is the Tateyama mountain range, Niigata prefecture, to the south is Nagano, Hida Furukawa in Gifu prefecture, Takayama, Gokayama, to the west is Ishikawa prefecture, and to the north is Toyama city and Toyama bay, so you can get to the sea in about an hour. Spring begins with new greenery, fuki no to, plums, and a variety of wildflowers bloom, and there are the blessings of nature. There are many flowers in the garden in May and June, so please enjoy a walk. It is hot in summer, but there is a river breeze and many trees, so the shade is cool. You can also enjoy fishing in the Shintsu River that flows right next to the house. In autumn, you can also experience harvesting chestnuts, persimmons, etc. In winter, there are days when there is a lot of snow. For those who are not familiar with snow, shoveling snow will make you sweat, but I think it's fun. I hope you enjoy making igloos and snowmen. This is a private rental accommodation in a renovated 45-year-old wooden house located in Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture. We are renovating it to make it comfortable for modern people to use, while maintaining the good points of an old house. It features a space where old and new materials coexist and you can feel the natural environment, including the garden. Even large groups can use it comfortably. We hope you can relax and use it as a base for sightseeing in Hokuriku and climbing the Northern Alps. There is a monitor, so it is also recommended for workations. As this is a private rental, you can use it as if it were your own home, but the store on the first floor is open on Fridays and Saturdays, and the host may stay there from time to time. We also accept pets, and you can bring them when you eat on the ground floor.However, regular customers also come to the store on Fridays and Saturdays, so if the dog barks too much, please keep it in the cage on the 3rd floor. The first-floor bistro offers more than 100 types of drinks, including various wines, original cocktails, craft beers, craft gins, and whiskey. On Fridays and Saturdays, à la carte cuisine is available. The course meals also require a reservation, but I recommend them. This is a renovated 120-year-old private house built in the traditional streets (Yamamachi-suji) of Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture.It is located about a 10-minute walk from Takaoka Station, with good transport access to Toyama, Kanazawa, Amasaki Kaigan, Himi, Tonami, and Shiodoshi.If you have a car, you can also easily access Noto, the World Heritage Sites of Gokayama and Shirakawa-go, the Kurobe Tateyama Alpine Route, and sightseeing in Takayama. It is not only located in Yamaichisuji, but can also be used as a base for sightseeing in Takaoka, such as the foundry town of Kanyamachi (10-minute walk), Takaoka Great Buddha (10-minute walk), Takaoka Castle Ruins (15-minute walk), and the national treasure Zuiyuji Temple (25-minute walk). The house is surrounded by my favorite garden flowers and is full of greenery. There are many tall trees around that are 300-400 years old, covered in greenery, and birds chirping at any time are singing. The interior is beautifully finished with favorite accessories, antique stands, retro music boxes, furniture, etc. The room is created with large glass windows, and the surrounding greenery and sky are very beautiful and full of openness. The bus from Toyama Station is 15 minutes. The house is 5-6 minutes from Toyama IC by car, and there are many restaurants along the road. You can get to Toyama Station in 15 minutes to the north and Takayama in 90 minutes to the south on National Route 41. Toyama Airport is 3 km from the house and can be reached in 5 minutes.

"Yoko's Inn Wakuwaku" is a "separate" inn adjacent to the creative home cooking restaurant "Wakuwaku", limited to one group per day. There is a private entrance. The first floor is a living space with a dining table, and the second floor is a bedroom. From the window, you can see the vast rural landscape and the Northern Alps Tateyama mountain range in the distance. Guests can optionally have breakfast, dinner, etc. (breakfast 1,000 yen, dinner from 2,000 yen. Please ask).
