Knotts View is located in the centre of Dockray village, in the quieter rural Matterdale valley, high above Ullswater. The local pub is just across the road with it's large garden. Footpaths head off in all directions, offering both high & low level walking. Beautiful Blencathra Skies (ground floor)

A fantastic 2 bedroom ground floor house, with world class views. Main bedroom is a comfortable King sized bed, with second bedroom having two single beds with ample space to move about in. Log burner in living room for cosy nights in. Al fresco dining picnic tables front & back. Keswick is 4 miles away (taking railway track on foot, crisscrossing over the river Greta). Doorstep walking. SMART TV, Games, DVDs and books for those rainy days. Escape and enjoy the views. Note - residents upstairs.

Stunning views of Ullswater... Very special... Perfect... Well equipped... Spotless and clean... Fantastic host... No picture of our panoramic view can really do justice to The Garden Flat. But we hope those words from our most recent reviews do. The flat is in an elevated 19th century former hunting lodge. The Ullswater Way walking route is at the end of the drive. Down the hill is the Brackenrigg Inn, with its own microbrewery, and Another Place, with lake swimming and spa facilities.

Snug Cottage

Snug Cottage is located at the bottom of Blencathra. It’s a perfect base to explore all local walks and enjoy the local surroundings. Within a couple of minutes walk from Snug Cottage there is a lovely coffee shop & two pubs. We are 5-10 minutes to the Railway Line which is a 4 mile walk which takes you to the closest town, Keswick - here you will find supermarkets & shops. As well as stunning views and walks, we are happy to recommend day trips and things to do.

The exterior of The Workshop showcases a charming stone facade with a wooden front door. Several small windows provide natural light, while a dedicated electric vehicle charging point is positioned beside the home. Plant pots add a touch of greenery to the peaceful setting.
