If you are keen for a challenge head up the hill through Tiffen Park and explore Bluff Hill. There is a walking track off Lighthouse Road that leads up to the Bluff Hill lookout and then continues down through Storm Gully towards the Port so you can do a circuit back to Emerson Street. Takes about 1 hour.

A short drive, or an energetic 30 minute walk from the Napier City centregives you an amazing view of Hawke Bay and its hinterland, the Hawke's Bay. The Bluff Hill lookout has the bonus of a bird's eye view of a working port
