Why locals recommend it

This theater is a sort of icon in Kenya. It’s just been renovated—with improved sound, seating, and acoustics—which makes it a joy to sit in and watch a performance. They normally put on plays here, but recently the space has also been hired out for classical music and ballet. Whatever’s on, the productions here are always great. There’s a bar with a range of locally inspired drinks available, so it’s nice to come early and have something before the performance.
