Sarahs’ favourite lunch-time pub, popular with walkers. Good sandwiches and chips. Bar and restaurant. Dogs are permitted in the bar area. Look out for sheep as you enter the village, they roam everywhere and like to sleep in the middle of the road. ££

We like this traditional village pub in Appleton-le-Moors. Great area for walking in and around this attractive village and up onto the Moors. Good food in cosy rooms, welcoming staff and areas to sit inside or out for well earned refreshments. Booking advised particularly for evening meals. Telephone -01751 417435
