My favorite little coffee house in downtown, The Baker and the Cakemaker, Inc. won me over with their breakfast sandwiches, delicious pastries and coffee. It's easily walkable from Hillmont Hideaway and I would definitely recommend!

The Baker and the Cakemaker bakes its artisan breads and pastries on site using organic flour. Add this to the delicious array of hot and cold drinks offered on their menu and outdoor seating within walking distance of the Airbnb and you have a winner! I often stop here for a treat (Potato Bomb anyone?) and pick up my weekly loaf of Meyer Lemon Bread on my way home from the Saturday farmers market. Love this place!
