Great seafood restaurant in Marina di Vecchiano - 20 minute drive from Lucca on the beach. It's on the sand dunes of the beach. Book a tbale on the outside terrace. You are immersed in nature. No concrete or other buildings around - just the immensity of the beach and a protected National Park. When you book lunch or dinner, check with the owners that you are able to park in their reserved car park. They normally do not charge you extra for this. Basically, spend the day here - great beach and you have hot showers by the restaurant you can use after a swim. (Bring some euro coins to feed the meter for hot water in the shower).
