Keswick 'bus station' is essentially a few bus stops outside Booths supermarket, but has buses which will take you to many destinations in the Lakes, including over some of the passes to Buttermere if you'd prefer not to drive.

Great bus service running hourly most of the week to our barn, often as an open-topped double-decker.

Bus route from 554 from Keswick to Bassenthwaite (Drops off at Castle Inn - a few minutes walk from South View) and then on to Carlisle.

Take the Honister Rambler, the 77/77A, from Manesty's gate. A stunning circular bus route that goes from Keswick, past Manesty, up Borrowdale and over Honsiter Pass, to Buttermere and Crummock Water, to Lorton and then over Whinlatter Pass back to Keswick. A stunning ride in itself and very convenient for walks and hikes back to Manesty.
