This MODERNIST HOUSE, it's currently a civic centre but it actually was the RESIDENCE of a wealthy MERCHANT from the Americas. It was one of the first major works by Joan Rubió i Bellver, winning the FIRST PRIZE from Barcelona City Council for the BEST BUILDING COMPLETED in 1901.
