Why locals recommend it

A rallying point for Parisian start-ups. Located in the Sentier area and inaugurated by Mayor Anne Hidalgo, the meeting space is where the city’s leading entrepreneurs in tech and science gather. The decor is playful, and the vibe is free-spirited, with couches and armchairs to use instead of desks. Within Numa’s 1,500 square meters of space, its co-working area, La Cantine—the first of its kind in all of France when it opened in 2008—is definitely the coolest and most connected place to freelance in Paris. And it’s free!
