Hope Cove is a small fishing village that is a mile away from the barns - either 5 minutes by car or a 20 minute amble across the fields. Hope Cove is home to 2 beaches (one slightly bigger than the other) which are perfect for building sandcastles and rock pooling.
Great beach, lots of cafes & pubs to eat and spectacular views from the coast path walking from Hope Cove towards Salcombe. There is a car park but also quite a lot of free parking on the side of the road that goes through Hope Cove
Only 10 minutes by car (about 1 hour 30mins walking the cliff path) to this lovely duel beach (one sandy and one rocky) village. Great beach with shops nearby for an ice cream or dine / take away at The Cove, The Hope & Anchor or The Lobster Pod Bistro - book ahead when busy (The Cove is walk in only and also does a handy take away service).
A beautiful family-run hotel restaurant and bar with sea views to die for, and friendly staff that make you feel instantly at home. Lounge on the terrace on sunny days with cocktail in hand and something delicious from the barbeque, or when it's chilly head inside to the sophisticated restaurant, have a drink at the bar or warm your toes with a cream tea by the log burner.
