The Yuba River is a renowned attraction, especially in the summer months. Full of great swimming holes, little beaches, beautiful boulders, and rapids, there is truly something magical about the Yuba. My favorite spot is Hoyt's Crossing. To get there park at the highway 49 crossing and walk upriver…

Another river access. better for bigger groups. Still beautiful river. A trail nearby the historic building can be found here for a peaceful walk.
