Teide National Park is the biggest park on the Canary Islands. A trip that should be at the top of the must-see list of everyone who visits Tenerife. A unique landscape of craters, volcanoes and rivers of petrified lava, surrounding the impressive silhouette of Teide Volcano that stands at 3,718 m above sea level..
Stunning views!! Wonderful hikes and a must see on the island. This is a different side of the island with (if you get lucky) snow on the top of the vulcano.
Very interesting to see how big and great nature can be !! To make a visit to the top you’ll have to reserve a spot on the official government website and they close daily at 6pm to go there by yourself. Also available are different courses also for sunset , together with a guide who leads you hiking approx 30-40 min to the very top (3718 meters ) and you can experience gas coming out on certain spots realizing that it’s really a huge volcano in sleeping modus! If you are in Tenerife this is a must visit.
