Tips from locals
An 82 acre botanic garden with a visitor center and scheduled outings. Lovely hiking trails, including a wetland boardwalk with interpretive signs. Great for jogging. Lower parking lot and restrooms usually close at 4 pm. Upper parking lot open later. No admission charge.
If you hike in Snake Hill you should probably stop here if you're not starving or beat. Worth its own visit too.
This is one of the best places for the entire family to hike around and enjoy nature. There is a fairy garden, a board walk trail, a wetlands trail, and much more! Partly shaded for those warmer summer days. Highly recommend this spot!
