This 16.9 acre park is a popular downtown place on hot days, when families gather to cool off in the spray from the huge fountain. With views of Pikes Peak that are hard to beat almost anywhere else in the city, locals and visitors gather in the park on gorgeous days to bask in the rays and enjoy the amenities that this park offers.

This place is beautiful and has a water fountain for the kids in the Summer. Their playground is very broad! This place is a popular spot for families!

GREAT PLACE TO PICNIC. GREAT WATER FEATURE AND STREAM FOR TODDLERS AND KIDS. BRING A BLANKET TO SPREAD OUT, TOWELS, AND PICNIC. HUGE PARK AND PAVILLION WITH BATHROOMS. THERE CAN BE HOMELESS FOLKS, BUT SECURITY IS A FOOT.

This is a great city park to take kids. They have a fabulous playground and the large metal circular sculpture that you can see from the highway. This doubles as water feature around noon in the summer for kids to play in- so bring towels, sunscreen, and a picnic lunch.
