The area of Nature Park Telašćica is a distinctly contrasted area with quiet and peaceful beaches and a laid down coastline on one side, and wild and steep cliffs on the other. The salt lake Mir is located in a narrow strip of land between Telašćica Bay and the open sea. Be sure to visit the donkey refuge! Boat trips are available from the town of Biograd.

Telascica Natural Park with its salt lake Mir and its cliffs is an excursion with a very rich flora and fauna, with dolphins, bats and rare birds. Mir lake 146m above sea level is located in the Natural Park on the southeast coast of Dugi Otok Island with the highest point nicknamed Grpascak at 161m above sea level.

One of the most beautiful and spectacular nature parks! You can go kayaking the area and stop off to explore the every spot! You can also rent a scooter in Sali and do a day trip to park! It's definitely a must-see attraction if you visit Dugi otok! :)

A trip to the Telaščica Nature Park is an unmissable part of a visit to Dugi Otok – it’s within biking distance from Sali. Telašćica Bay is a 8km deep inlet dotted with bays, islets and cliffs. A spectacular saltwater lake lies next to the bay – the water is warm and you can swim there. Legends abound about hidden treasure and ancient inhabitants with five horns on their heads. More visible treasure is the wildlife that abounds there, from pine to fig to olive to moufflon (a kind of wild sheep). Although the park is not commercialised, there are facilities for tourists providing fresh fish and local wine. Paradise indeed.
