This is an old GDR prison. The guides (especially if you speak German) are former inmates. So it is really personally and can be quiet shocking. You get to know a lot about Stasi (secret police of GDR) and about the communist regime.

former GDR prison. interesting and tours every hour..call if the have some in english that very day. its cheap and an essential part of our history, ive been a couple times and enjoyed. always different tourguides so other insights as they usually are former prisioners.
