Beautiful park setting with 17th and 18th century stone buildings that served as the original meeting places for early NYS lawmakers. Walking around and picnicking are encouraged.
This is a lovely park right in my backyard (behind the parking lot)! Apparently this is the smallest national park in the U.S.
The Senate House State Historic site reflects the Dutch way of life that characterized Kingston in the 18th century. More importantly, it was the meeting place for the original New York State Senate.
