Great tour of a battleship along with many monuments on the grounds out front. Be prepared to climb many stairs on the ship.

USS Alabama is an amazing ship that you can actually go into and see. Not only is the ship there but on site they have planes and aircrafts dated back to WW2. This is an amazing experience for everyone.

The park was opened in 1965 to the public as an independent agency of the state of Alabama. Since then, more than 13 million visitors have trod her decks and stood in awe of her majestic presence. The submarine USS Drum, a World War II veteran with 12 Battle Stars, joined the USS Alabama in 1969.
