The only Oregon state park within a major metropolitan area. Lush grounds, easy hikes, just gorgeous. You may see a full parking lot but you'll barely see another person once you hit one of the many trails past the nature center.
Tryon is about a ten minute walk and is lovely. It connects into Marshall Park, so if you are looking for a long walk or run, Marshall to Tryon is a great loop.
A rain forrest in the city. Walk under the ferns and trees for hours and lose yourself in the greenery with a cup of tea. Amazing.
