If you have kids, this park is a mile away. Just turn left on Old Fort Rd and it’s less than a mile up the road on the right. It has a playground surrounded by a paved loop for walking and riding bikes. There’s a creek to play in and a pretty nice view of the surrounding mountains.

Just 5 minutes down the road on Old Fort (towards Asheville). Playground, creek area to play in, picnic area, and a small walking trail around the park.
