Beautiful and abundant apple orchard just a few miles from here! - u-pick, picnics and a mountain medicine apothecary. Savory hand pies, quiche, sweet treats such as the scones, apple or peach breads, cookies, seasonal teas (hot or cold) and take time to explore the shop. The owner will take time to explain natural remedies/products and I highly recommend Dr Frog’s Itch B Gone. If you’ve ever experienced poison ivy, you know.

Old-fashioned apple orchard nestled amongst rolling hills in the heart of Southern Appalachia. Apples, peaches, wagon rides, events, u-pick, mercantile, apothecary, picnics, bonfires. Located 34 min from the cabin.

One min from cabin and they have fresh baked goodies like cinnamon rolls, apple bread, apple pies, cookies, scones, tea and farm fresh food like tomatoes etc. They do tractor rides, storytelling on the mtn with a fire, s’mores and picnics. They also offer yoga and Apple picking when in season.
