Gold daughters is a great place to try your hand at gold panning. Not only gold can be found in your 'poke' but also other gems. The cabin where you buy your 'poke' has a table with examples of the various gemstones. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

This place is just out of town and here you buy literal pay dirt and they offer experts to teach you how to pan the gold out.
