About 16 kms from our resort. Our checkin time is 12 pm. From Pune, start early, reach this place by 9 am. Go on the top of the fort to get scenic view of Kolwan Valley and the Sahyadri Range. You can reach our resort by 12 to 12:30 pm. Have a delicious lunch with us, may be with a glass of beer, and then just relax. Alternatively, checkin first , have lunch with us and then reach the fort by 3 pm and come back to resort by 6:30 pm.

Tikona also known as Vitandgad, is the dominant hill fort in Maval in western India. It is located near Kamshet around 60 km from Pune. The village nearest to the fort is called Tikona-Peth. The 3500 ft high hill is pyramidal in shape and the name Tikona means "triangular". The fort is a trekking destination noted for the large doors, the temple of 'Trimbakeshwar Mahadev', a water tanks (seven water tanks) and some Satvahan caves. Trek organisers also commend the views of Pawna dam and the nearby forts of Tung, Lohagad and Visapur. There is Pawana lake at the summit.
