Why locals recommend it
If you want cutting-edge, stylish contemporary art, come to this gallery in Tennoz that produces exciting projects. They showcase artists with distinctive sensibilities, like Naohiro Ukawa, the organizer of live-streaming platform Dommune; Nile Koetting, who is involved with Nozomu Matsumoto on the virtual sound room EBM(T); and the painter Kei Imazu. The gallery takes its name from owner Yuko Yamamoto, who jokingly says it adds a bit of modernity to her name—gendai means contemporary. She is a wonderful figure—beautiful, cute, and intellectual.
