The hiking trail takes you up a small east texas mountain, then back down and around a small picturesque lake with swim dock. One of my favorites.

Beautiful dogwood in the spring last only a few weeks, but this State Park is still a favorite for outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy water sports, hiking or just a relaxing day in nature.

This Texas State Park is just beautiful year around. The hiking trails are well known as well as picnic spots and special events. Check out their schedule, you might catch a fun class to take or special activity. Dancing for the family on Saturday nights, weather permitting. There are paddle boats and canoes available to enjoy beautiful scenes from another angle.
